Hey ladies, congratulations!
TKA, I know what you mean about being difficult not to share the news!
My dr on Tues told me the EDD is actually the 1st April (he changed it to 2/4 so it wasn't April Fools' Day!!), so I'm going to hang out in the April forum mainly.
That said, my first baby was a week early, so who knows!
Anyhow, if anyone wants to meet up for coffee in Tung Chung, it'd be lovely to get together.
All the best everyone!

I'm due in late March too.
Going through the public system so still awaiting my first scan at 12 weeks.

Fingers crossed for everyone.

Hello ladies, our first baby is due in march as well. It's quite exciting . Although ms is taking away much of the excitement at the moment. I've been feeling pretty unwell for a week now, it sucks. Would love to meet once I'm feeling better

Yes I know what you mean. Hang on in there - I'm hoping the nauseau/puking and the fatigue ends soon! Just heard a horror story of a friend who had morning sickness till her fifth month. Let's hope we will be spared that.

My prenatal supplement was making my nausea unbearable. Spent all weekend in bed, stopped taking it and now the nausea is back an a manageable level. Hope I can find a low iron one to take instead.
Anyone know of a low iron or iron free supplement? (I was taking materna)

Hi kej182,
Unless you're deficient in something, the only essential supplement is folate, in the first 3mo. Everything else you can get from good nutrition.

As I'm vegetarian I'm likely deficient in a lot of things as my husband likes to keep telling me, so I want to take something to give myself a boost, especially as eating is not something I enjoy right now.

What was the level of iron in your previous supplement? I'm now taking New Chapter which contains 18mg for each serving of three tablets. I'm feeling nauseous too but am not sure if it's due to the iron. I wasn't feeling so bad during previous pregnancies when I was on it.

Hello all,
I'm 8 weeks today, feels very strange saying that still! I'm due 24 March, seems like a long way off but I'm sure it will rush past.
Currently I'm general feeling fine but need so much sleep, luckily haven't had morning sickness yet.

Revesi I really feel for you, can only imagine how hard it must be right now. Hoping the MS starts to subside for you soon.

I'm expecting number 2 in March! I'm almost 9 weeks along having first doctor appointment on Thursday. Hoping everything is fine so far and that there's only one in there:)

Congratulations to all of you on your pregnancies!

I am 8.5 weeks along in my first pregnancy and thrilled and excited but also achy and bloated...anyone experience back pain / have any remedies to share?

Very glad that this group exists - hurray to the March 2015 babies.

Yes I'm going public, I figure if I was in the UK still I'd not even think about the private system so I'm sticking with that - oh & the cost scares me!
