What eggs do you give to your toddlers?

There seem to be a wide variety of eggs available in Hong Kong; from China, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Australia, U.S etc.... Which origin is considered 'safe' for us?

generally the select USA 'Extra Large' (which I think is ParkNshop being a little more than cheeky)

I should add that generally any eggs should be fine as long as they are cooked through when serving young children

if i have time then Japanese eggs...but nashua852 is right - cooking them thoroughly is the most important.

Always free range - cage eggs, uggh. Always Australian or NZ. I dont' trust the food producing systems in China and try and eat as little as possible from there. I'm not China-bashing, just stating a fact. I can't trust a system which killed its own babies.

From ParkNShop, from the wet-market; from family who kept chickens (pre-bird flu).

Some came from USA and some from Thailand and some from China and some from HK. Didn't really stress or obsess about it. The children are strong and well.

My main concern was that they be cooked through.
