i've just returned from a stay at QMH where i met a lovely woman that could really use our help. She's a new single mother of twins (one boy, one girl). She just delivered by c-section last wednesday and she's getting ready to head home on Sunday.
She is receiving no support from her family who have basically decided that she no longer exsists. The father of the children doesn't want to have anything to do with them and is offering NO support, financial or otherwise.
If you have a bassinette or a double pram that you are willing to part with, it would be greatly appreciated. My friend just doesn't have the resources or the space for much right now, so bassinettes/moses baskets would be perfect.
Also, if you are willing to donate nappies or wet wipes or anything like that, I'll start a collection for her. Due to her lack of space, I'll be storing things at my house(DB) and taking them to her(Sheung Wan) as needed.
She has approached her church but all they offered was a lecture. The gov't is only providing $1300/month. So anything and everything would be greatly appreciated.
Please respond here or send me an email if you are interested in helping.
Thank you so much!

PS> Rani, I hope that you don't mind my posting this here. This forum is usually full of very helpful people. Thanks!
