thanks, home from dr already... in bed with tooo much time on my hands... hence all the answers to posts on all the forums!

which supermarket are you looking in? i mean which location?

City Super at IFC has them some on one of the endcaps, olivers and I think great have tyson ones in the freezer section, depending on stock.

You can get them in supermarkets but they are so much yummier made at home!

Just marinate chicken pieces in some beaten egg and lemon (the lemon is v imp, as it just adds something!), coat in breadcrumbs (can buy in pns) and then fry.

Can then put on kitchen paper to get rid of any excess oil.

Will check them out at Olivers.

I have tried making them at home somehow they are too soft. Will try again and see how they turn out

Thanks for all your suggestions

I always make my own too. I make the chicken into nugget shapes. I then make some fresh breadcrumbs using wholemeal bread, parsley and a little Parmesan cheese. I then dip the chicken into flour, then whisked egg and then into the breadcrumb mixture. I then fry on either side for a few minutes. You can freeze afterwards if you like or before if the chicken hasn't already been defrosted.
You can also bake in the oven.
This is great with fish too.
Mmmm, I'm getting hungry thinking about it.
Enjoy
