Hi everyone,

Was really great meeting you all, looking forward for the next one !

It won't fit for me on the 15th, I have my scan at 12:30 at Dr Lord...and I'm leaving on the 17th for France. I'll be back on the 28th. So either the 16th, or the week before, anyday. Otherwise, I'll catch up in january.

How's everyone's day been? I've been a major stress head as I've been cramping ALL day. No spotting or anything though (touching wood). I called my Doctor's office first thing this morning and asked to speak to one of the nurses and the nurse didn't call me back until after 5pm. After having a chat with her she said she's speak to the Doc and get him to call me in case he wanted me to come in tomorrow but I haven't received a call. Hmmmm...

In the meantime, my Mum (who is a nurse) called her friend who is a maternity nurse and she said that it's very important that I rest and not do any exercise or have sex (sorry TMI). That kind of made me worry though. Looks like its a VERY quiet weekend ahead for me. Better stock up on DVD's. Haha!

Anyway, sorry for the vent girls. Just had to let that all out. I've had this cramping on and off for two weeks now and I think it's really starting to get to me. Bring on my scan next Thurs!!

Just me again with an update. The nurse just called me back and the Doctor wants me to come in tomorrow for an ultrasound just to check everything is OK. Yikes! :frown: Hopefully it will be a good outcome. Wish me luck!

Hope everybody is fine today...I'm at work this morning, I'll be happy at 1pm when I'll be in week end, and hope the nauseas hopefully go away ! :mad:

I just got home from the ultrasound and the results are so far so good. We could see the yolk sack and everything is in the right place, so that was a relief. He couldn't see any bleeding, other than some possible implantation bleeding so that was a good sign too.

He couldn't detect the heartbeat but he gave it a good go. He said he wasn't really expecting to see it yet though, as I'm not past the 6 weeks mark. The embryo is measuring 5 weeks 6 days, so I'm due on the 3rd (Aug) and not the 4th (one day difference). I am still going in again on Thursday for the ultrasound I originally booked and fingers crossed I'll see the heartbeat then.

Thanks again for listening to my worries. Will keep you all posted on how it's all going.

Dear Pinkballerina - so happy to hear everything sounds good. Glad for you! Also, with your scan on Thursday, I have mine on friday. Will also be hoping for heart heat but am trying to relax in the mean time, kind of hard to focus on much else besides chasing my little one around. Glad of that though, keeps my mind busy. Anyway, one step more in the right direction, well done, and looking forward to catching up soon! xoxo

Hi all !

How was the week end ? hope you guys are doing fine.

Didn't do that much this week end...mainly rest and sleep :-)
sickeness are still here, not only in the morning by the way, I believe I better get use to it :-(

Sorry guys, I will not be able to make it on the 16th, my hubby is in business trip on the 15th so I had to change my appointement for the 16th so that he can come. I'll send you some news after this scan and I'llcatch up in jan for the next get together. Sorry again about that !
