AprilBuddy, did Dr Lam tell you the gender of your babies? :p just curious because I am doing my Oscar with him too!

Hi emch, yes! He asked if we wanted to find out the gender of the baby and we said "yes"! 10 secs later, he said "you can call it a HE now!" And he showed us the dot!! Lol!!

Have fun! It was a good experience!

Congratulations everyone!

I'm still looking at finalizing my gynae for check ups and delivery in private hospital. Any recommendations (except lucy lord and grace cheung)
 
Just did the Nifty test today, need to wait 2 more weeks to know the result, I finally stick with the same doctor - Dr Tsoi. He's a really good doctor, he even draws blood for me by himself, as he knows his nurse may not well experience as him and may make me feel painful so I'm blessed to find a detail minded doctor :)

can't wait to find out the gender of my baby :)
 
Just wondering which hospital is everyone choosing and whether you go for natural delivery or c-section?

Hey poojabatraa... Can't give you any recommendations cos I'm with Grace :p she's amazing though... Very supportive, answers all your questions patiently (no matter how many you have) and the support network at Central Health is just incomparable! I've have three bleeding scares and they were always just a phone call away. They took me in immediately even when appointments are full and I get calls from the midwives checking up on me every now and then :) feel so loved!

I'm going to Matilda and set on vaginally birth with epidural. :)

I have my Nifty Test done and regular check-up last Fri, had a bit of drama lost a ton of blood and required immediate removal of polyps at the clinic, was prescribed the antibiotics and 7 days medical leave.

The test result will take 10 days and doctor has announced it's a baby girl.

Hubby got a cold and passed me the virus, had visited the doctor yday to get the pregnancy safe flu pills.

I will choose St Paul in Causeway Bay to give birth to the baby :-)
 
Omg pollyrafiq, hope you're okay now. Are you taking bed rest? Same thing happened to me twice and I was put on antibiotics and bed rest twice :( glad your baby girl is okay!! take care, keep your legs up... And watch a lot of tv series!!!!! x

oh hope you're okay pollyrafiq, take lots of rest and take care! I've been bed rest for over two weeks too, but I'm feeling better now, hope all of us are going to enjoy the lovely second trimester with much less morning sickness!

i will have my OSCAR next thurs, if things dont look good, I will go for Nifty to get a clearer picture. Hope to see all of you soon!

Any idea about delivery at Union hospital and dr shun kit? His clients are more expats or locals?
 
Thanks gdphuket, Kkangaroo, last rest day and prepare to workforce tomorrow, got a slight flu early of the week from hubby, feel much better by now.

@ poojabatraa, consultation, ultra sound image plus medication the last visit was HKD2180 and his hospital charge will be HKD40,000 as I choose semi-private at St Paul Hospital in Causeway Bay.
 
Pollyrafiq, congrats on baby girl! By the way, I thought my OB was expensive as some friends of mine are paying $20k for private hospital Ob but it seems she is fair after seeing yours. :-)

Now it is time to exercise after first trimester!!! I feel so tired all the time. I need to exercise to regain energy!!
