emch1224, I think I'll be having that test too then. It'll be nice if they take a long time for the scanning :P I am doing mine at Tsuen Wan Adventist Hospital in 3 weeks time!

Also, regarding the classes, I will see if there are any places available by Queen Mary/Tsan Yuk (my friend went for some of their classes), and no complaints!

Hmmm thanks girls, really didn't think I had to book so early. Waiting at the OB as we speak, had a bleeding scare and everything seems to be okay now... Just waiting for them to analyse the results!

@ Knight family, congrats and you will soon experience a whole new of you being round, slow motion, emotion change, appetite change person, always want to sleep and eat for no reason, would love a meet-up as I will be 11 weeks end of the week and pass the first 12 weeks will be a safe period to hang around.

@ emch1224, spotting is common only when you found out the reason internal or external and the volume and pattern, take it easy and more reading, the more you know the more you will enjoy the entire pregnancy, busy to window shopping baby items, gathering bits and pieces before welcoming the VIP of our family.
 
Thanks ladies! Struggling a bit with my due date because I have PCOS. If I went from the date of my last period I would be at 12 weeks but radiologist only has me at 7. Having a scan next Wednesday to try and narrow down and hopefully hear a heartbeat. Morn sickness isn't so bad for me right now as long as I don't get hungry. A great excuse for me to eat :) especially seeing as I'm a personal trainer

@ Knight family, hope everything is fine at your end and you will for sure hear the amazing heart-beat of your love production, if you are personal trainer, you should taken great care of easy labor, any good recommendation of prenatal yoga or getting discount?
 
I'm one of the few ppl who don't practice yoga unfortunately but my girlfriend went to pure yoga for her antenatal classes and loved it. Remember that you can usually continue what you have always done in the way of training but try not to give your body any new challenges

Hi everyone, I had my Nifty test last week and ultrasound findings were good. Stage 1 almost passed!

I have gained 5lbs so far (I am at end of 12wk) because I am constantly hungry! And if I don't eat, I will feel very nauseous! And interestingly, I only feel nauseous at night when I am tired. I am expecting a boy!

How is everyone doing with weight gain and morning sickness?

@Aprilbuddy2014... Right there with ya on the weight gain. I am constantly hungry and can't stop eating. It really helps with the nausea! And I've been eating a lot of bad foods :( it's just that I'm feeling so crappy already, the last thing on my mind is a salad. Haha, morning sickness better go away soon so I can get my eating back on track!


Congrats on your 12 week mark ;) can't wait to reach mine! Have you announced to the world yet?

Hi emch1224...how many weeks are you at? My morning sickness started at wk 10, kinda lucky! Hope it will go away in 2 weeks.

My husband and I can't keep secrets! We announced to the world right after the Nifty test at 12wk even though the result will be ready by end of next week! The ultrasound findings were good! Touchwood!!!

I'm ten weeks right now and itching to tell!!! My friends are all very suss though :p

Had morning sickness since week 6/7 :( you are so lucky girl! Also been placed on bed rest for the next 2/3 weeks. I don't know how I'm going to stay fit through all of this!

@ Aprilbuddy2014, congrats on your baby boy, you will know on the spot after your Nifty Test no need to wait until 2 weeks of time?

I will have my Nifty Test this Friday of the 11 weeks pregnancy, finger cross!
 
Hi emch, don't worry about getting in shape! I look like 5 months pregnant now even though I am just finishing up my first trimester! You are not alone! I am planning to get a personal trainer to help me remove the accumulated fat after delivery! I have a feeling I might end up gaining more than 20lbs!!!

Polly, the nifty test shows results in 2 weeks. By then we will be sure the baby is 99% fine. Through ultrasound it is only 80% accurate. Good luck with your check up! It was really fun, first time to see the baby that looks like a baby! Will your hubby go with you? My husband loved the experience! He was so touched!!!!

Nice to hear some of you are getting over morning sickness! Mine is worse during the evenings, and I take one tablet to help control it. Else I can't eat when I am starving! Hope it goes away soon!

@Aprilbuddy- how'd u find out you're expecting a boy so soon? I thought it's at around 16 weeks and later?

@emch- take care of yourself, I had a friend who wad put on bed rest for a while, and everything turned out okay! She has a healthy bb girl

@Rani- currently I am in my 10th week, and will be free to meet up after my 12th, which will be after July 11th! Hope to be showing a little belly by then too!

Rani, I am also on my 10th week! My 12 week scan is on July 10th... Hopefully everything will be good to go by then :) probably can't meet up until after that though

Hi Kkangaroo, the doctor was able to spot the "dot" during the 12wk ultrasound which was part of the Nifty test. He didn't use words like "maybe" or "I think" so I trust him! Haha... I also showed the ultrasound to my sister-in-law who has 2 kids and she said she saw the dot as well so definitely a boy! Lol!! My nifty result will come out next Friday so I will be 100% sure! I have announced to the world that I am having a boy right after the ultrasound. I trust the doctor. :D

My 12 week scan is on the same day as yours emch, july 10th! cant wait!
