Thanks for the info Peainthepod. I've just called them and got my helper an appointment for tomorrow. I'm just like u as I've already had her working with me for 2 days before I got around to doing this. It wasn't compulsory for her to do one as she did one just before she arrived in HK to work for her previous employer about 1.5 yrs ago. The maid agency I used told me it would cost about 1,000HKD for the full checkup which I found to be too expensive.
