Hello ladies,

hi all ..just wondering if you guys have any idea about playgroups in singapore.. we are thinking of moving to singapore but I'm kinda so out of touch for such a long time.. and any advice on what websites like this in singapore?

hi ladies
see all of you tomorrow at Playtown around 3ish.....!

sprawld, no need to think about moving to Singapore, just go!! I'd give anything to move back there! I'd say 99% of the ladies here will agree with me, its more child friendly, good medical facilites (not that its bad here, just so terribly expensive!!) and less crowded and polluted. Education is not as daylight robbery as here plus all in English! I am sure there are websites like this in Singapore, someone will probably tell you or try Google it, won't go wrong. Good luck!

Hi Michelleyuchoo and fennho

I'm also a sorrento mummy with a almost 3 mths old baby girl. Maybe we can meet up somedays for coffee downstairs.

Is it the Playtown in The Westwood, 8 Belcher?s Street, Hong Kong island?

If so there is not direct MTR. Take to Sheung Wan and then change bus?

Sorry ladies for late notice, it seems that not many mothers with toddlers are going, the younger babies will not be able to use the facilities.. Aili and I are trying to contact the mothers whom we have mobile numbers to inform that we will change this to another date.

yea, 3pm isnt a good time for me cos kai naps ard this time. but we were there at 10am this morning! it was great. i agree that the babies need to be at least crawling, to enjoy the facilities. and i'd think that having crawling babies with older babies or toddlers at peak hours, isn't quite an appealing idea. but then again, as long as the parent is supervising, a little rough play will let them learn how to survive :P

the only down side of playtown is that the toilet is located out of the store. so bring wet wipes to clean their hands!

hihi~

Just wondering if you lot would like to have a mailing list for us all. So whenever we organise the next get-togethers/coffee/playdates, we can just send a mass mail for everyone then we can just reply all on whether you'd be attending that particular meetup, how about it? I dont mind collating them, mail me at [email protected] & i'd make up the list :D can even include your celly number for easy reach :)

I think that's a great idea... I'd definitely prefer to check on emails than logging in to geobaby to read the latest updates. Will email you my email address and thanks for the effort for the group!

To all other moms...just a little bit about myself. I'm from Penang and have 2 girls (7 & 5years) and a 3 month old boy. We are living in Tong Fuk Village on South Lantau. Would love to meet up for playgroups in Tung Chung if possible.
