And also, I will contact Dragonfly JKT (Nelia), Angeilin and Jaz 1311 to check if they are coming, just in case they missed the thread. Jaz1311 actually went to Lei Garden at IFC the last time... I feel so bad.:bawling:

:chef: talking about desserts now... macarons. Yes, I have tried macarons at LGB before. They are very sweet with different flavours. The size of macaron is about HK$1 size, :Butbut you just cant put the entire piece into your mouth. They are tooooo sweet. They taste like a sweet candy to me than a pastry. But still, I love it. Try the opera cake, it is really good. Never give it a miss whenever dining there.

Looks like you lot have had a ton of fun! Could i join in the fun too? :) Am missing having singaporean friends/lingo! Only downside is I wont be able to make it for lunch, would be able to perhaps meet only after 2ish or 3 as my girl takes her nap after her lunch............ so if you guys are still up & about at around that time, please do holler... would love love to finally meet you lot!.. or shld i leave my cellnumber to someone :)

ooo... thanks fennie. er, shall we then maybe just skip lunch and then just meet up , together with the kids. we can perhaps alternate each meeting with a lunch and the next without lunch and it is up to individual whether they want to bring kids.

fennie, i notice that they have a kids fun world at the roof deck.. is that place any good fun? maybe we can all meet there, er if weather is not too cold/windy...we can meet there first and then go to The Arch play area in case of late comers...

i cant seem to open the browser, kept telling me i dont have the latest flash installed altho i installed in. Anyway, is it the open air one? It's a playground. Not too bad. Sure do. We can go there first and then to The Arch or we can proceed to a grass patch nearby and have a picnic? :)

Errr....so is lunch confirm "skipped"?

we just moved to clearwater bay in NT - any idea what is the best way to get to Elements? Seems like a long way to take the train....... maybe i should ask Jaz since she's near me....

I probably will come with my son if he wakes up from his nap early and the travel is not too consuming - its tough trying to deal with a toddler and being pregnant at the same time!

will keep a lookout and see whats the consensus on the overall plans. hope you guys are having a great christmas!
 
Hi ladies! Wow, so much activity in the thread! Sorry I can't make it for the 29th dec meeting, as my mom and sis-in-law decided to come round to hk/macau a few days earlier than planned. Will be taking them around. Look forward to the next meeting! Please have loads of fun! The kids are going to be so happy to see so many friends.

Happy boxing day! So glad it's a holiday in HK. Enjoy the super long weekend!!!!
 
hello this is liz. I can't make it on 28th coz we decided to go vacation next week in Taiwan.

It's been a peaceful Christmas for us and I hope everyone had a good Christmas and a wonderful long weekend. C u guys next meeting.

ops.... sorry for the confusion, lunch is cancelled. we will just meet at 1:30pm at the playground in Elements and then proceed to fennie's place's playground. we can probaby then go for tea after that?

direction to Arch playground

Hi Fenho,

possible to provide us the direction to Arch playground? Do we have to show any ID, mentioning your name or house number in order to enter the place?

sorry was out today and not feeling well too. Had a nasty sore throat due to eating too much chocs :P Running a fever now :(

Do u mean the open air playground? That one no need ID, it's open to public. U can go to 360 supermarket, at the end of it, there's a row of lifts, take any one of them to the PR level, exit lift and turn right, walk a few steps and turn right again.

As for the Arch play area for kids, yes, u need the ID to access of cos as it's located inside the building, 60th floor. Do u have my mobile number? If u're not planning to go to the playground but will come to the Arch, call me.

I'll PM u my mobile number later.
