My b/g twins are coming up to 1.5 year old.

I'm interested to know what other mummies are feeding their 1.5 year olds for snacks and main meals? What are their sleeping/napping schedules?

Thanks in advance!

My daughter is currently 21 months. But her schedule hasn't changed much. Her takes one nap from 1pm to about 3pm and her main meals are:
Breakfast: 8am
Lunch: 11:30am
Dinner: 6:15pm

She has snacks in between the 3 meals and they are normally about 1 hour after breakfast and lunch. I normally start by giving her fruit and then some days she has cookies (I try to pick healthier snacks)

She bathes at 7:30pm and then we put her straight to bed - so around 7:45pm

my 1.5 yrs old son 's schedule is pretty much the same. He has a bottle of milk upon waking ( breakfast for him) and then a snack 1 hour later, a bit of toast or some yogurt. Lunch is followed by a 2 hour nap, and another bottle when he wakes. And then afternoon snack is usually a fruit. He has dinner at 7, and then a smaller bottle of milk before bedtime. He sleeps later at 9pm though.

My 1.5 year old's schedule is similar.
Breakfast: 7:30-8:00am
Snack: 9:15am
Lunch: noon
Nap: 12:30-2:30pm
Snack: 3:00pm
Dinner: 5:15pm (sometimes 5:30pm)
Bath: 6:30pm
Bedtime: 7:00pm

She takes a cup of milk in the morning, in the afternoon and before bed.

Snacks are mainly fruits. Breakfast are mainly bread/cheerios/yoghurt/fruits. Main meals are mainly sandwiches (lunch) or pasta/rice, meat, vegetables and fruits. I try to provide as much variety as possible but I don't do short orders. There are days when she eats like a bird; other days, loads.

My 16 month old is bascially on the same routine as Sage's little one except that:
- he doesn't have a morning snack,
- he has 200mls of milk when he wakes up on the morning and just before bed in the evenings.

For snacks he likes sultanas, raisins, dried apricots, prunes, grapes, strawberries, cheese and crackers (not too many crackers though!). For main meals, he was a great eater until about 3 weeks ago. He loved lasagne, fish pie, sausages, veggies etc. At present he just wants to eat congee, plain white bread or plain pasta. Hopefully this is just a phase and he will be back eating the full variety of foods soon...

If you are looking for ideas for meals and snacks for little ones I would recommend the Annabel Karmel range of books. They have easy recipes that the adults can eat too..
