Hi, Zenith Kowloon Tong Campus offered us a place in their 2013/14 PN class international stream. Does anyone have any comments on this school? Thanks in advance!

My son is studying PN in Zenith Kowloon Tong. He loves going to school everyday. Now he knows phonics and many mandarin songs. Most of teachers are very nice and welcome to communicate, including the Principal, who will stand in front of the entrance 'everyday'. I highly recommend this school, the only concern is that it is not as famous as St Catherine, Victoria, Kentville... If you plan to put your child into a local school for primary, you may need to consider to change while he/she is K1.

Hi, thanks for your reply! We are planning to send my boy to IS. I understand that Zenith follows local curriculum. Do you think it is suitable? And how is the English environment at Zenith, compared to the geuine international kindergartens?

The ratio of English and local teachers is about 60/40, plus some native Mandarin teachers. They have Mandarin class everyday. But as what you said, the school follows local curriculum, most of the students are local or mainland Chinese. Not sure if it's suitable for you. After all, my top concern about kindergarten is how they nurture the child a love of learning and a thirst for knowledge. So it's really depending on your priority. Hope it helps....
