I'm still trying to decide what to get my husband for christmas and am curious to know what good ideas others have come up with! My husband is seriously hard to buy for so I'm thinking of taking the safe route by buying him a Wii.

so far just a coffee grinder. i know he wants one but its pretty dull so am waiting for some inspiration. time is ticking unfortunately!

Ha, what a great thread! I need some help too! My husband is a big cook so so far just have gotten him a cookbook - very boring. I am trying to find a really nice BBQ utensil set in a case that can be left outside. Anyone know where I can get one besides Ap Lei Chau (can't bring myself to trek all the way out there)

'Top Gear' is in town in Feb (the live production), mine's a big fan of the show so he's getting tickets to that.

Leah that's a great idea. Will have to look into it.

Matty, I completely agree :) We shouldn't need to do anything on Christmas day for our husbands but wake up and be our beautiful selves (she writes as she scoffs a Snickers bar, 6 and a half months pregnant)...

A family Christmas gift

This weird and unfair idea about Christmas gift came to me last night...:haha:

I have been wanting to buy a professional camera (Nikon D300) even though I am a camera idoit. He knows too.

Since I have been praising so much of the pictures that have taken from Nikon D300 (my friend one). He intends to get me one for this Christmas.

When I asked him about what he wants for Christmas, took him sometime to think of this question, as I 'warned' him not to ask for unnecessary as our place in HK is very messy and small.

NO ornaments : He likes collecting crystals, NO proper shelve or cabinet to display.
No Books : He LOVES reading, but we got no proper bookshelve.
NO clothes : Our wardobe is FULL now.

SO, I suggested to have a family Christmas gift instead. A Camera!!! One gift will be shared by 3 of us. (My husband, I and my 3.5 months old girl) and hopefully that camera will capture the best shot of our family for Christmas.

Isnt it unfair for him, but good idea?

Have a Merry Christmas and happy new year :babydustpink

Aussie gal - I am also 6.5/7 months pregnant - but I'm scoffing down mince pies! :)
I got hubby a golf bag - I know he wanted it, that he wil use it, and it's kind of a one stop/drop thing - the shop is right near my transport hub........easy.
(Now, if only his b'day wasn;t in January!)
