Would like to hire a part-time local Chinese helper

Hi
I am looking for a part time Chinese helper to work for me 2-3 days a week, only half day. If anyone has any recommendations, please do let me know! I know it is difficult to get a legal part time Filipino or other nationalities, but I don't mind. She won't be in the flat by herself, I will be here. Just need some help with housework. Thanks!

I am also hoping to find a part-time helper - Any suggestions for finding someone, maybe 3 times a week, 1/2 a day at a time. If someone could help that would be great.

BTW - how much is the salary for part-time helpers?

I think the hourly rate is around $40-$50? That was what I paid my last part time help who came during my confinement month.

Helper needed

My helper needs to go home for three weeks, annual leave, and I need someone to replace her for that period. Does anyone know anyone that will be able to come between 8am till 6pm, three weeks starting April 2nd till 22nd? HELP! The person needs to clean, iron and wash. I have a second helper, so the babysitting will be taken care of.
 
josoo, i am also having the same problem. My helper will go home for 2 weeks in May, and I will need someone to do the housework. I don't think I can handle 2 kids plus housework by myself! Is is possible to hire someone who can work continuously for 2 weeks from 9am-6pm?
 
Kara, I ended up calling Merry Maids and have now booked someone for those days. I checked with a range of part-time Filipinos, but most of them can only work a couple hours a day, I work so I need someone at home constantly. Merry Maids is reliable and at least I know someone will come on the dot and leave 6:00pm, they are not cheap though, however worthwhile I guess. One less thing to stress about...PM me if you need their details.
