working mums with babies less than 1 yr

Hello,

I'm looking for other working mums who have babies of less than 1 yr - I know there are a few threads on this topic but they all seem to be outdated (2003!).

I work in Central and have a 4 month-old baby girl. I'd love to meet and get to know other mums & babies of around the same age.

Looking forward to your replies.

I am also a working mom with a 6.5 month old. I work on the Kowloon side. Would love to meet other working moms and their babies too!

I was thinking along the lines of organising a lunch in Central during the week - but since there are quite a few mums working in Kowloon side, what about a get together coffee on Saturday afternoon say on 10th Nov? We can meet in a Starbucks in Central or maybe better, Dan Ryan's in Pacific Place (very baby/child friendly).

The gathering can be open to husbands as well, since I can understand how precious weekends are for families!
 
Great idea Premama,that will be a prefer time for me, as my daugther. my husband and I will attend the Panda Junction at central at the morning, so around 12:30pm we will be avaiable. 10th Nov, will be fine for me. Thank you for your arrangement.

Thanks for organising Premama but I am taking my daughter to get her vaccine shots that saturday so we will have to give it a miss this time. Hope to join your next gathering!
 
I'm working mum with 7 months baby girl and 3 years' old big girl and working in Central. I would like to have a lunch during the weekdays.
 
Looks like not many people are available on 10th.

I am a new join to Geobaby and have just picked up your suggestion. 10th Nov has passed and I must have missed the lovely gathering. Will there be other gatherings in future? My girl will be 7 months next Tue. I am working in Tsueng Kwan O and can only participate in gatherings in HK during weekends.
 
I am a working mom with a 9.5-mth boy, office in Wanchai and live in Happy Valley. Also availabe for lunch in Central in weekdays or gathering over weekends. Cheers.
 
Are the mums working in central interested in meeting weekday for lunch? It'll be great if we can talk and share about the following topics:

- breastfeeding while working
- leaving babies with helpers & attachment issues
- which playgroup?
- how to balance baby & work generally

I can have my helper bring my baby in for lunch if the other mums are bringing in their babies too.

Looking forward to arranging a meeting with other working mums!
 
Sounds good - Im on maternity leave now but will be returning to work in central soon so this would be very helpful. Lunches during the week are fine.
