Witch Hazel Pads for Postpartum

Wow! I didn't even know this existed. Think most people use water, ice packs, and Vaseline to relieve discomfort.
 
I bought the T.N Dickinsons haemmarhoidal pads off iHerb, worked really well! I also bought Earth Mama New Mama bottom spray, also from iHerb, which has witch hazel and a few other things. That was really great and I would definitely get it again next time! Was great to have something I could just spray down there every time I pee'd!!
 
you can get witch hazel from the health food store - health essential.

picked up 2 bottles last night and am planning to make my own witch hazel frozen maternity pads :)
 
I took a quick look at the ingredient list for the Dickinson's Witch Hazel Hemorrhoidal Pads. Should I be concerned about the 7% alcohol level?

Not to mention typically witch hazel is distilled via alcohol, so maybe the alcohol levels are actually higher than 7%?
