I was a medium size & 36B before pregnancy, 44A during my last month of pregnancy (I was carrying twins) andnow I'm 40A! I cant fit into any of my tops and it's been 4 weeks since birth!

Do I need to get a corset?? What can I do to help shrink my ribcage? I'm already using a binder for my stomach!!

Hope some of you ladies can give me more advice..

it took almost 9 months to get big enough for the babies, it will probably take that long to get back to "normal" don't rush yourself, you and your body have been through a lot together and it will take time.

congratulations on the twins!

Yes, I feel the same way. It's been 11 mos since the birth of my daughter and I'm only feeling just now that my ribcage has gotten to a more regular size. I couldn't wear any of my old size bras either.

carang is right. it took your body 9 mths to blow up, give it at least another 9 to shrink back to its original size. my bra size went back to my pre-pregnancy size 6 mths after i stopped breastfeeding, in fact, one bra-size smaller (not cup size). i used to be a 36B pre-pregnancy, now i'm a 34C. i also lost weight 6 mths post. only to gain it back 12 months post. now that little baby became a running toddler, i lost another 6lbs since she started walking.

so take your time. and enjoy your new babies!!

I agree, it can take a long time, but even with that your body will never be exactly the smae again. I lost the pregnancy weight really fast (by my 6 week checkup) but even 1 year later, I was so frunstrated buying clothes because even thought my weight was the same clothes didn't fit the same and you have to get used to a new body.
