Which stroller would you choose?

Mommies, I need your help! I lost my stroller yesterday and I desperately need to get a new one. I had a peg perego p3 which was heavy and hard to get on and off public transport. I need something light and easy to manage. My baby is 7 weeks old and needs a stroller which can recline fully.

I went shopping around today and narrowed it down to 2 choices. The Combi Well Carry and the Cosatto Swift Lite Supa. Does anyone have any experience with these models? I am torn between the two and went home undecided. I thought I would ask you experts first before I commit to one. Thanks!

I don't have either, but I would go with the Combi...most of my friends use it and really like it. I just bought an Uppababy G-luxe umbrella stroller in Canada and it's great....easy and very light to use...unfortunately they don't sell it here.

We used the Maclaren Techno XT for my newborn. It reclines fully and what we like about it, is that it's so easy when we travel as we can bring it right the gate and fold it up. For my othe son, from around 18 months, we used the Maclaren Quest which is a bit lighter, but also reclines.

We went to Eugene the other day and felt in love with the Graco Cililite. It is so light, and the good thing is that it can be open or close with a single hand. It can also recline fully. We are considering buying it.

Thanks for your input! I went back to Ocean Terminal and looked at all the strollers again. I really liked how light the combi was but hesitated due to it's "plasticky" build. I ended up with a Maclaren quest which looked more robust and strong. I am moving to Sai Kung next month and am afraid that the combi would not last.

would you mind telling me how much are the maclaren quest, maclaren XT and graco cililite? sorry i'm just being lazy at actually getting to the shop to check them out.

bubs is a heavy 16 months old.

tah!

The quest at mothercare costs $1,999, the Graco in TRU is 1,149 and the Techno XT is $2,769 at Bumps to Babes

The graco that cost 1149 in TRU is Citisport. Citilite costs 1599 (if I am correct) at Eugene, VIP price. But now we are also interested in the Graco Mirage (i think that is the model name) which cost 999 at Eugene

We are still looking for a lightweight stroller for our 17 month old. It looks like Maclaren would be our choice too after reading this post. We have a Orbit travel system and an Esprit. Both are too bulky to take with us when travelling.

My son is 21 months and we have been using the combi well comfort since birth, and I will be using it for my second. It's super light, folds easily with one hand, and despite the plasticky look, holds up well, as I often strap all my shopping on it too. I cannot understand why some mothers in hk are walking around with the monstrosities that they are. I like the bar handle too, makes one hand steering very easy.

I really like the citilite, but I am afraid that, as it is too light, it may not be shock resistant. It may be good for walking inside malls, but may not be good for going outdoor, walking streets.

The combi is like that too, small wheels, so you basically have to brace the stroller up even tiny curbs. It's a bit inconvenient, but you get used to it and its the price to pay for light strollers. I wouldn't trade it.

hey~ i use to own a Aprica Stroller, is also Japanese Brand, similar to Combi, but i think better in looks and quality. however, my son out grew the stroller so quickly!!! although the stroller is very light and sturdy, but now i look back, its really a waste of money if i can only use it for 9 months! Now my son loves the Bugaboo Bee! I highly recommend it, i wish i got the Bee in the very beginning!
