Where do you guys normally shop for kids clothes? I'm new to HK and would like to know good shopping malls to get stuff for my little ones. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

for daily clothes stanley is great.

I really like Chickeeduck. They are on sale now and hv the cutest dresses.

We got the vast majority of clothes from Stanley market... for baby stuff Mothercare and M&S have reasonably priced bodysuit packs too.

Stanley market - r u referring to the one near the library? I went there once (since I got here) but didn't stay for long as the market is kinda packed with tourists and hard to move around. Are there any other suggestions? I m looking for slightly fancier clothings for them.

I try to avoid Stanley on the weekends, as it's much busier then. There are some shops in the market that carry reasonable quality stuff from US - brands like Carters etc. Also there are some party dress shops if that's what you are looking for.

If you want high end clothes, there is a strip of a dozen or more "brand" children's clothing shops in Harbour City (near Toys R Us) in TST.

there are also quite a few fancy-pants kids clothing shops in shatin new town plaza.

personally, i could never justify spending $200+ on a kid's t-shirt. they out grow them so quickly! besides, the markets really have all different types of things. for fancier clothes, there is one "shop" in stanley market that has children's 3 piece suits and fancy party dresses. they are so much cheaper than what you'd spend in a proper shop....

if you do try stanley again, do go during the week and around lunch time... all of the tour groups are busy at jumbo having lunch at that time!

Windsor House in Causeway Bay has some nice kids shops for different budgets as well. I personally like "Next" and find it a similar price to H&M/Marks & Spencers/Mothercare (which is about as much as I will pay for clothes) but there are other more expensive stores with some really nice clothes as well.

A lot of malls have kids clothes stores, generally in a line one after another. Citiplaza for example has about four. And if you're willing to shell out the bucks, there's Lee Theatre Plaza which has a whole floor of upscale shops. I have never actually bought anything in any of these because I can't be bothered to spend the money when my kid is going to outgrow it so quickly... I did quite like the look of the kids stuff in Muji though, less expensive but they are on the casual side.

Lee Gardens in Causeway Bay and 5/F in Princess Building have pretty high end brand names (i.e. Jacadi, RL, Bonjour etc). But to be honest, you are better of buying the online, as they do tend to be cheaper!

Seed in Repulse bay or in Lee Gardens - in fact there is a whole floor of shops dedicated to more upmarket clothing. Pettit Bateu in Harbour City TST is good too. If you wait till the sale time the prices are resobnable. I used to like Seibu in Admirality but it has closed down. Also Zara does a nice kids colection.
