Where to shop for baby in HK?

Hi HK moms!

I am visiting HK for the 5th time at the end of Aug.

I am wondering if there are some cool stores that carry different products for baby. For example, cool strollers, slings etc.

I am also looking for cloth diapers.

Any suggestions?

thanks

Hi Cyansmom,

Are you looking for stuff you can't get in Canada? I'm sure you would have a better range over there!

But anyway, my favourite baby shops in HK are:

- Eugene Club Centre on Queens Rd Central (or other locations)
- Bumps to Babes in Pedder Building
- Mothercare in Lee Gardens Causeway Bay (or many other locations)

What kind of cloth diapers are you after? As far as I know, there are no fitted/AIO/pocket diapers in the retail stores here, though B2B used to sell Kushies. You can get Bambino Mio prefolds from B2B and Eugene Club Centre, along with their very nice PUL covers. You can also buy flat terry diapers and muslin flats from B2B and Mothercare.

There is doubibou.com based in Macau, they have the biggest range in the local area but of course you have to order online and get the stuff delivered.

Hope that helps.

I agree with hkaussie. The selction and prices are better in the US. But we also use the stores mentioned.

I used to order online: baby-station.com, they carries BabyLegs which is legwarmers.looks so cuteeee....

I agree with the other comments. The stores here are pretty average. I like the clothes you can find in some stores at Tai Koo Shing and in the Prince's building but as for the rest, strollers etc there's nothing interesting here that you can't get elsewhere. They also never seem to have stock so you end up waiting a couple of months for them to order it in when you could do it yourself and pay less... Bumps to Babes is my all time least favourite shop and i hate that I have to shop there because there aren't many alternatives!
