summer is here and the weather is getting worse. i have a 8 month old baby and hate being stuck at home at a rainy day. can anyone recommend dry places to gi with the little one?
thanks

rainy days means mostly indoor playrooms or we wander around malls like IFC, Pacific Place etc...We also do long extended market trips where my son can look at the foods and walk around. If you know anyone who belongs to a club that's your time to ask them too! Aberdeen Marina Club and American Club have great indoor playrooms - have never seen HK Country Club's. Just know they have an outdoor playground.

When the rain finally lets up to a light drizzle, we get on our wellies and slosh around too!

I'd say it depends on your interests. If you like to shop or window-shop, there are tons of shopping malls all over HK to wander around in.

If you like to read, go to the Central Library near Victoria Park or any of the other local public libraries.

You live in CyberPort, which is kind of inconvenient, but there are also some nice museums in TST (art; space;history; science) as well as the Heritage Museum out in Shatin.

Your daughter is young enough that you don't really have to care whether she's entertained, just suit yourself. :)

Take the #58 minibus to Kennedy Town. There's a public library at the Smithfield Gov't building and an indoor playroom.

Other than Wise-Kids, there's Playtown, Babycakes, and yes the private clubs.
