Can anybody recommend a lab or clinic to go for HSG X-ray? Had my first consultation with Prof Haines who has recommended this test. Does anyone have any suggestions where I should (or shouldn't!!) go??
Wouldn't he have recommended a place for you to go to? Doctors usually work with people they trust. If you trust him, i would think the place he organizes for you to have the test would be a good and reliable one.
Additionally, being a fertility specialist , you can be sure the place he recommends would be one that do LOTS of HSGs, as he would send his patients there and an HSG is pretty standard in the work up.
No recommendation was given. The nurse just said the lab at the hospital had a long waiting time, so go to outside clinic. Was hoping for any recommendations from others in similar situation.
Sorry forgot he worked in the public. I had one done at a radiology centre in takshing centre on des voeux road, but can't remember the name of the practice. My obgyn was Phillip Ho, maybe you could ring his rooms and ask the nurses where he sends his patients to have this test done?
