where to get the mini pill...

Hi, does anybody know where to get the mini pill CERAZETTE..I have been to mannings, watsons etc but they don't stock it neither does my local chemist. Do any of you use it too... Any help would be great...

Maybe check with your family doctor on that pill's composition.You may find another brand name with the same hormone composition.Thats what I did when I couldn't get my brand of mini pill here in HK.

I was told recently that the mini-pill is ONLY stocked by the Matilda Hospital. You need to get your doc to arrange a prescription for you to collect there.

What do you mean by mini pill? Do you mean one that can be taken when breastfeeding, or one with similar ingredients?
I took microlut which I got from my Dr in DB- he says such pills are available only by prescription because there isn't a demand for them in HK.

I heard the Family Planning Assn also have the mini-pill. Can anyone confirm?

the family planning association does carry the minipill. the cost is hk$60/cycle.

i'm getting the cerazette from the MCHC (mother and child health centre), which is a government healthcare organisation. each consultation costs 1$ (!) including the costs for any doctor's consultation and the pills. they give me 3 packs at a time, so i don't need to show up there each month
