Hi all,
my dh and I are planning to start trying for #2 in the next month or so, and I need to find a good source for prenatal vitamins. I have only looked at Mannings so far, but the price is a bit steep for our situation. (nearly HK $200 for only 50 pills.) If any of you have found a good, affordable brand anywhere, please let me know.

All the best,
Katie

Katie,

Which brand did you look at? I took Materna when pregnant and I don't remember it being that expensive. If your diet includes lots of fruit/veggies do you need to take extra vitamins? Isn't Folic Acid enough?

My Dr didn't put me on Materna until I was around 3 months. I used to get it from the smaller pharmacies like Fanda and Victoria and it was much cheaper.

Ask your doctor ! Lot of the doctors in HK "sell" Materna to the mother. I got materna from mine, it cost HKD100 only.
