Hi there,
I am looking for some bedroom furniture for my 2 year old(bed, closet etc).
Does anyone know where to find them besides IKEA?
Thanks!

store in ocean terminal. art deco or something like that. Eugene club at mEGABOX have entire room furniture

Thanks all! I will check them out! Oh, by the way, is there a carpentar that anyone knows who can tailor-make kids furniture? I have a small space in the bedroom and I am not sure if the ready made ones can fit into that space.

Did you have any luck finding good kids furniture?
We are looking for a kids bed (and furnishings) as well, and not entirely keen on Ikea's beds... love other shops/places to consider looking (especially on HK Island).

There are a few places to check out:

Bumps to Babes in Ap Lei Chau sell kids furniture - ask to see the catalogues

There are also a few shops on Queens Road East who can custom make kids furniture - one is called "Art Deco" and it's located not far from the Hopewell Centre.

There is also Mothercare in Princes Building - again ask for the catalogue
:)

there is a new kids furniture store at universal center caine road on the 31st floor. red lantern made in korea

you can ask the small furniture store to make them for you. I dont think It is really expensive. And they make it just fit your baby's bedroom. You just need to give them your bedroom floor plan. I did once with one of the furniture store at Grand Central Plaza shatin (IKEA). You'd better walk in and ask the quote.

conned by Colors

I found a shop in Queens Road East, called COLORS. They had a few nice looking kids furniture in the shop. We thought we would go with them and have our furniture tailor made. We paid a deposit of $1500 for them to come to the house to design a plan.

Unfortunately after the design was drawn, we found out that they had limited choices of materials and fabrics. We gave them a contractor's number who got our interior's material from a supplier for our existing house. But they were not helpful/flexible and is only willing to offer what they have in their catalogue. They also refuse to refund us any of our deposit since we decided not to go with them anymore.

We feel that we have been cheated. I would not recommend this shop to anyone or be sure that they have what you want before you give them any deposit.

Hi everyone,

We are moving to a new apartment so wanna buy some decent/safe furnitures for our 2.5-year-old, including things like a book case, kids sofa (ideally for 2 people to sit on it!), etc. As this thread was last updated over 3 years ago, I wonder whether there is any new recommendation? I'm quite bad at designing so probably won't try customization. Thanks in advance!

We got a lot of things from Ikea...though there are some children's furniture stores at south horizon plaza...not sure what your budget is though, Ikea worked for us!
