where to buy shoes for 17 month old?

I'm looking for Stride Rites, or some shoes that might have firm but flexible soles. Don't want to pay a lot for my 17 month old, but am still looking for decent shoes. Central location preferred. I know where I can get pedipeds (bumps to babes) but am wondering if anyone can recommend a reasonable place to buy shoes.

Have you checked at Footstop? They are on Pottinger St. Search the site for the address
 
Dr. Kong? Pricy but very good for kids. My 17 months love their shoes. Just got another pair of summer shoes yesterday.
