Hi,
We just arrived from Australia and will be staying in HK for 3month. Unfortunately, we could not find any place that sells Karicare formula and I don't know any brand in here. I ended up buying Wyeth for my son but we don't like it at all. I wonder if anyone can help me out here please. Does anyone know where I can get Karicare, S26 or something similar in HK? Thank you.

Hi,
We moved from Oz around 6 months ago and had some issues with formula, ended up at the Paed who recommended three brands (s26, Cow and Gate, and Enfamil). We ended up on Enfamil which works well. You can buy S26 here, you just need to hunt around. Wellcome sell it:
http://shop.wellcome.com.hk/jsp/sys/Sf_render.jsp?hf_s_id=WD11&hf_srv_id=Pv_fcu_home&hs_resol=1024 (I can't get the full link to work, so you need to go to 'select category', then 'health and beauty, baby' and then under baby dry food on the second page, you can buy s26).
Please be careful though, you might not be actually buying the same formula as Australia. We use to use Nan HA in Aust, and were excited to find it here, but unfortunately the one here gave our daughter an upset stomach (hence why we ended up at the Paed). The one sold here was made in Germany instead of the one in Oz being made in Oz.
Finally, if you get desperate, you can order through this online Australian website, they deliver to HK:
http://www.pharmacyonline.com.au/fo....html?osCsid=628b7dc4171576f3c5adbb2434613f81
We did this as we were getting desperate when our daughter got sick on the Nan here, slightly more expensive but very convenient.
I hope the above helps, please let me know if you have any further queries.
Good luck.

Unfotunatley you can't get Karicare here.
Closest thing is Cow and Gate, or Snow Brand Smart Baby, ( tacky name but it is marketed for the Chinese ) also made in Oz.

Thank you for your info. I bought the Snow Brand. Unfortunately, it is giving my son diarrhoea. So I have just ordered a few cans of Karicare from Pharmacyonline.com.au

Hopefully, it won't take to long to arrive.

For now, Happy Chinese New Year to you all.
