Where to buy Cupcakes?

hi

can anyone recommend a bakery that sell nice cupcakes? hopefully within hk island. I hope to get some cupcakes for my daughter bday.

i got some cupcakes from a young 12 year old boy in shouson hill. he LOVES to decorate cupcakes and he does a great job, especially considering he's only 12!

he charges $10/cupcake and they are completely home-made. no boxed cake mixes.

i'd be happy to get you his number if you are interested.

he did two special ones for my kids.... one with a whale decoration for my son and one with a butterfly for my daughter.

actually, i just looked at his website and he has photos of the cupcakes he did for me!

i may order some more from him again soon! but i just got a new oven and i've been testing it out!

yep. i must say that i was REALLY impressed with the boy. his cakes were heavy cakes with flavour. i bought a $24 cupcake from a shop in horizon plaza (not one mentioned on here) and it was really NOT good. it was dry and had no flavour... it was just pretty. that's it.
 
that's what made me try them. i saw his blog and thought, why not support a youngster trying to make a few bucks spending money!

they even put them into a really nice box for us. i think i'll be ordering some christmas cookies from him next year, for sure.
his chocolate dipped strawberries look really nice too.

ps> the place in horizon plaza i was talking about was NOT sift... just in case you're wondering.
