Where to buy blinds and rugs?

hello,

i am new to HK and need to get some blinds and rugs. we also need some office furniture as well. any suggestions, other than ikea?

What sort of blinds are you after? We recently had some made from Jade Deco in Mong Kok (164 Fa Yuen Street) on recommendation from another Geoexpater. They are really stylish and were so reasonably priced (1/3 of the price of other places I had been suggested).
For rugs and possibly office furniture, try Queens Rd Wan Chai or Horizon Plaza (saw some reasonably priced rugs there a few weeks ago). Can't remember any office furniture there though?
 
blinds can be made anywhere. we got ours done at Flourish in Central on Li Yuen West Street. I think the owners name is CK and he was so nice and helpful. Spoke great english and came out to our place on the southside to measure and had curtains ready the day we moved into our new place - key for our son who needed blackouts to sleep. Flourish also does custom rugs. If you are not looking for custom rugs, then try Ikea, Franc Franc, MUJI, Spotlight (also has curtains/blinds), B & Q and there are a few Persian rugs shops in Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Chau.

Office furniture - Ikea really might be your best bet, but Franc Franc might have some stuff too down the block from Ikea in Causeway Bay.
