My baby's eczema is worsening and I would like to switch to Dove Unscented soap but I don't know where to get this here in HK. If anyone has any info, it will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Have you checked at Prize Mart? I have seen Dove there but not sure if its unscented. Also check at Gateway in Sheung Wan.

I have seen the unscented Dove at Wellcome on Robinson Road (not sure what area you live in). It might be available to order on Wellcome or Park n' Shop online.

I use Sebamed baby wash and shampoo and have heard that it is good for sensitive skin.

Although Dove is gentle, you might want to consider a non-soap cleanser if your LO has eczema as it is less harsh than soap. We use Avene or Dermaveen non-soap cleanser.

Where is Robinson Road? I live in North point but work near Sheung Wan. I went to Wellcome's site and they don't have the unscented cream bar listed. =(. Thank you for the suggestion though. =)

Try Physiogel cleanser and cream (moisturiser). It's more expensive than others but it seems to work well. Available in the larger Watsons (e.g. the one in Melbourne Plaza in Central had some).

we are now using the physiogel cream but have not tried the physiogel cleanser, do you use it for your baby's face and body?

A non-soap cleanser is better for a baby having eczema, soap just tends to irritate more. You can also add a few drops of amandel oil or calendula oil in the bath water, and avoid all softener for the washing... I know you didn't ask, but just wanted to share a few tips ;)
For my son I use Cleaning Baby Foam from Cattier, it's non soap and great for sensitive skins. I order it from Organic food & eco-friendly product with home delivery.

Good luck !

Having done a quick google search, it would appear that Gateway is located above the Sheung Wan MTR station (exit E1). Although I have not been there before ...

hmmmm... is this a mall or a grocery store? I always pass by Sheung Wan but I've never seen Gateway, maybe I'm not paying enough attention. haha

It's a store. You may not have noticed it as its not on the street level, but basement. They bring in a lot of US products, similar to a mini Sam's Club

My son's eczema improved after I started bathing him with QV Bath wash and also I got an old stocking filled it with rolled oats and put it in the bath when you squeeze it a lovely creamy milky liquid comes out. I just rubbed it all over him. You need to change the oats after 2-3 baths.

u know what i wish they're selling, baby hand gloves especially made for kids with eczema, cause regular mitts are just not good enough! wish there was a kind of mitt with really soft and cushiony padding so he won't be able to scratch himself.

Maybe you could find some of these soft glove at Nature's shop in Harbour City, it's one of the shop on the left in the kids area, all the clothes and stuff are light brown color. I use to buy the gloves there as they are softer than the ones I could find in usual baby shops... They are not especially for eczema, but maybe it could help.

Have you tried using Oilatum Emollient for your baby's bath? It was recommended to me by a lot of people, including my pediatrician, and I really like it!

We have tried many products as well but finally settled on California Baby Sensitive Skin Bath and Hair wash.
