Where can I buy breastmilk storage bags?

I have looked everywhere! Mannings, Watsons, Bumps to Babes, Mothercare, WingOn, Eugene Baby Club - no where has them!!

If anyone know - please tell me! I need to go back to work soon, and have to biuld up a nice supply in the freezer....

I used to use Playtex bottle liners to store breast milk. To seal, I simply used those clamps that you get from IKEA. These are much cheaper than the Medela milk storage bags. I never had any spills with these. You could get bottle liners from Bumps to Babes and Mannings (at least that's where I used to get them here in HK).

I did see them in Bumps 2 Babes the other day. They seemed to have got alot of new stock in and were packing their shelves so maybe they were out of stock when you were looking.

I just bought some at Bumps to Babes on Monday. I got the First Years ones.

I got mine from eugene`s on in Central. They had 2 sizes and a fair amt of stock. This was a few months ago but...

I tried to use bags and found it very annoying to reheat the milk and then pour it into a bottle for bub.

I ended up expressing into the avent bottle when at work (using the avent bump which I liked the most) and when at home with the madela electric I expressed into the little madela bottles which I would then pour immediately into an avent bottle for freezing.

This way the bottle went straight from the freezer into baby (all defrosted and reheated as per guidelines, off course!). I wasn't pouring and heating and moving the milk around (or my helper wasn't).

Thanks, everyone. I must have been incredibly unlucky when I looked!

I like the bags because I can fit more of them in the freezer than with bottles. Also, if you defrost the milk overnght, then I would just empty the milk into the bottles before I went to work each day - all lined up in the fridge, ready to go. OUr helper is 100% trustworthy, but I like to do it myself.

I also like the bags because I woud write on them when the milk was pumped. Pencil would come off the bottles, stickers get all yucky and indelible pen - well, you get it!

That would be great. I am using Lasinoh bags at the moment, brought from the UK by my mother in law.
