Where can I buy a Sit N Stroll in HK?

Ok well I was just told I can't use my daughter's infant car seat on Cathay Pacific because it needs to be forward facing. In the US it's illegal for her to be forward facing because she's only 6 months so I've not heard of a forward facing infant carseat. I am flying in 3 weeks and ideally would like to use a Sit N Stroll but I am not sure if I can buy this in HK. Or what other kind of car seat will fit this criteria? We're in business class. Also I will be travelling alone and am not sure how to carry a huge car seat by myself. Her infant one has a Snap N Go stroller it clicks in to. Ugh Ugh.

If anyone is selling a Sit N Stroll, I'll pay a nice premium for it!!!

you cannot buy them new here, you need to look for used ones. i have one, but sadly i'm still using it and i already sold my second one.

there are websites that will deliver internationally, but the cost of delivery is almost the same as the cost of the stroller itself.

good luck! i hope you find one!

after talking to hubby, i've decided that i'll sell mine, if you're interested.

$800

let me know.
Thanks,
cara

FYI

I've heard that if you can't find a new one in HK, you can contact the factory in Taiwan directly that makes them and ask (nicely!!) if they'd ship it directly to HK. Alas, I don't have the contact details of the factory but should be easy enough to look up on the net.

Hi, If anyone else is looking for a sit n stroll, I have one that I bought second hand, thinking we'd need it for a vacation, but vacation was cancelled... so willing to sell it.

Hi My First

I have a friend who is desperate for a SnS. Can you PM me your telephone number pls? thanks, Turtle

i just saw one for sale on asiaxpat www.asiaxpat.com under the baby classifieds.

We use ours for every flight, just be prepared that you'll get on and they will tell you that it should have the seatbelt go through the back of the carseat. However, with the sit n stroll, our version anyway the seat belt goes over the top - so we just show them its faa approved with the sticker thats on it and tell them we need the extension seat belt then they are fine. But every time i have used it (at least 10 times) they say the same thing

there is one stroller website, i can't remember which one that will deliver internationally. the cost for delivery is almost the same as the stroller itself.

if you google sit'n'stroll, i'm sure you'll find the one that i'm talking about.

I spent some time looking for the factory that a previous post had mentioned and could not come up with it.
Did discover you can buy them in Indonesia and that there is an Arab company that deals in them.
But most dealers were in the US, so carang is right about the cost of shipment (if they even do it).
Amazon has them and they might ship it here.

yes, you would have to pay for a seat for the baby, unless you wanted to stand for the entire trip ;)

does it fit on the cathay's economy seats? does that mean i need to buy an individual seat fare for my baby?

The problem with your economy seats question is that Cathay has different planes with different width seats. And an older, same model plane might have a different width than a newer one.
We flew NZ Air and the sit-n-stroll did not fit, unless you lifted the arm rest. We discovered on some planes the arm rests do not all come up. Having said that, ours has been to Aussie, NZ, USA and always fit.
And you do need to buy a seat.

If you are only using it on the plane and don't need it once you land, this is cheaper both to buy and ship. We are thinking of buying one in the next couple months so that we don't have to push two sit and strolls and luggage.
