When Would baby start teething

Hi ladies

I like to find out when is the right time for baby to start teething. My boy seems to have started and he is only 5months + is it too early. I saw some whitish thing on his lower gums and also i could feel it too.

babies can begin teething anywhere from 4 months-14months (yes, i knew a 14month old that still didn't have any teeth!)

if it's happening, then it isn't too early....not much you could do about it anyway.

It can be anytime! All babies are different. My daughter had her first teeth by 5 months. Sounds like your son's teeth are about to make an appearance!
 
I have actually heard of babies born with a tooth. Only heard it once but I guess it can happen. Mine were slow (at 14 months my youngest had a lopsided head with four teeth but all on one side of her face!
 
My baby also started teething at 5 months. I had no idea they could start so early and was really taken by surprise when my sister-in-law noticed and suggested I buy a teething ring (I just thought he had been a bit grumpy lately for other reasons!). By the end of 6 months he had 8 teeth...
 
my son had 6 teeth by 6 months...funny, it was right about that time that i decided to make the switch from BF to bottle...
 
my friend recently had her 2nd baby, a boy. He has his two lower teeth at 3.5 months. He is now 4.5 months, i can see another one is erupted!!
 
both mine had their first 2 teeth at 4 months, 3 weeks, followed quickly by the next 2 teeth at 5 months, 1 week...all are different....
