What's your toddler's favourite food

Hi all, my 14 month old is going through a stage with his eating where he has gone off most things except pasta and noodles. He used to love yoghurt but now it's rare if he finishes a tub.

I'd love to hear what favourite foods or recipes other toddlers have so I can try them on my little one! I can't bare to keep giving him pasta, pasta, pasta!

try cooking it different ways...

my boy loves the brown rice and lentil recipe from annabel karmel (i've never had lentils in my life, but even i think that this recipe is yummy).

my son also went through a stage of only eating white bread(with nothing on it), pasta and white rice. he would pick out the veg or meat in any dish and not eat it.

thankfully now, this has passed and he eats most things. still can't get him to try pizza though!

My daughter is only eating pastas. She also used to eat yogurt and now won't touch it. On top of that, she's self-feeding and will refuse to let anyone feed her. So definitely if anyone has any reccomendations on finger foods...much appreciated!

Cara, please would you mind posting that rice and lentil recipe, it sounds like something both mine will eat.

Thanks!

Hi Nanzbier, I would suggest this book as it's great >

Aussiegirl, my son is around the same age and will still let me feed him so he's having a mixture of Casseroles (Beef and Chicken mainly) , Risotto's (I make a few different ones), Cous Cous, Pasta with different sauces, Salmon with Mashed Potatoe and Vegetables, Lentils, Cauliflower Cheese etc ....

Some of them I have recipes for but most of the time I just throw things together.
