what to do with 8 month old?

what sort of activities do you do with an 8 month old? any playgroup or gathering with mums in kowloon?

i would watch dvd with her, chinese poems sort, let her listen to cd, powerpoint (flashcards), nursery rhymes and play toys with her.. nothing much apart from these.

I also have a baby girl coming to 8mths. Whereabouts do you stay and will you like to join us for a get together in Tseung Kwan O, I am trying to start one for mums with babies around 7-8mths :)
 
i stay in whampoa garden hung hom. i would be quite free in mid of may. i would love to meet up in tko, whampoa or anywhere.. we could gather , with a few other mums, babies.. but what to do?
hehe.
 
the mums could talk about the joys ( and woos) of taking care of baby and the babies...well they just "bounce" around and look around, at least that's what my girl does now!

there was thread earlier about the same issue . u can go through the suggestions there.
When our son was 8 months old we had play dates at home 2 times a week. We didnt join any formal playdates till he was about 13 months.All the things u mentioned were more than enough we didnt do any flash cards with him.
Take him out to the park
 
at 8 months, my son and i spent our days taking lots of walks, visiting playgrounds, had playdates/playgroups at friends houses, listened to music, attended panda junction classes in Central and Music Together ones.
