What to do for increased risk of twins?

Okay, so I'd love twins.

For all twin-mothers out there, I know the statistics re increased odds for older women, african american, etc....but what's the 'other' secrets!

Do tell what I should be doing to increase my chances.

i was hoping for twins too...i have 11 cousins on my mother's side, 6 of them are twins, my mum was a twin...i had two singletons...and now, am glad for it!

The older you are when you concieve the more likely you are to have twins; if you concieve while breastfeeding or while on the pill you are more likely to have twins; and the more children you have already had the more likely you are to have twins; twins run in families, and in certain cultures...twins are very common where my husband is from!
Fertility drugs and IVF all increase your chances of twins.
But not sure it is really something you can gurantee.
