what should I tell my doctor

I'm seeing a private doctor for check up and scans; but i plan to deliever in Public; i'm not sure how to tell him?? Any suggestions??
 
I'm in the same situation and I just told my doctor, he doesn't seem to have an issue with it and says he has given 'shared care' to other patients before me. I don't feel that I'm getting inferior treatment from him compared to his other patients just because I'm not paying for the delivery. I'm sure it will be fine, but if he is not supportive then maybe you can find another private doctor who is?

we told the doctor in the first meeting that we will be going the public route. she was fine with it because there was no way she could get us into a private hospital for our due date anyway. the doctor only wanted to know if we will continue to see her or not for the antenatal checkups.

i think you should just be honest.
 
I think this is really common in HK, I know a few people who have done the same thing and I really don't think the Dr's have a problem with it.
 
this is perfectly fine. i went to dr. rose tse in central for my prenatal check up and delivered at QE.
