What is the best time/age to apply for Nursery

I'm a mother of 15 months old. I want to know what is the age for sending your kid to Nursery. I heard from one of the friends that we should apply much well in advance.

Different schools have different requirements. Some do it on first come first serve basis, some only allow you to apply a certain period before the kids start school. I'd suggest you to first identify the school you like, check the requirements and apply accordingly.

actually my daughter is 15.5 months old now and i just started applying for nursery for her (to start september 2009). some offer on a first come first serve basis. but others have to go through an interview process. anyways, you should identify ones you want your child to go to first. many have started handing out application forms already.
