what do you put on your toddler's toast?

hi Jo!

My son loves peanut butter and almond butter and recently I have been experimenting with dips like hommus, sun dried tomatoes etc.....

Have you tried homemade peanut butter? Very easy to make, let me know if you would like me to send you the recipe.

My daughter is also loving toasted sandwiches at the moment, we put all sorts of things in them - ham and cheese, baked beans, avocado and cheese. The machines are really inexpensive at Fortress and my daughter now just loves toasties!

my son likes peanut butter and honey... he calls it "pooh bear bread" because of the hunny!

If I put cheese on the bread, she will only eat the cheese, if there is jam, she will lick off the jam. However if I make a grilled cheese sandwich where the cheese is melted, she will eat the whole thing. I will try the suggestions above.

My daughter likes evaporated milk on her toast! If you get the squeezy bottle you can spread it easily, it's very sweet and she loves it. Give that a go! Another alternative is maple syrup, but just a little, and it'll be like French Toast! Hee hee...
