Ways to get rid of old furniture

We have way too much furniture for the size of our apartment, residue of life in another continent where space is not as precious as in HK. I've finally come over the sentimental hurdle and decided to remove a few pieces to make more room. I would love to know if there's any company or person I can call to help dispose the worn-out pieces.

Donation and garage sale are also options. I'd love to know if there's any orgnization in HK that accepts furniture donation, and again will need some numbers to call who can help move the furniture from our place to the new location.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

For smaller jobs, such as moving a couch to another unit in the same apartment complex, is there some sort of handyman who can help?

You could advertise on Asiaexpat in the free stuff section and I am sure someone will come pick up the furniture and thank you for it. For handyman service/ moving small stuff you could call Man with a Van at 97797659.
