Water births

I haven't been in Hong Kong very long. I have an 11 month old and although I am not pregnant at the moment I would like a water birth when I do have my next baby. I had a water birth in the Uk last time and had a great labour. (If it can ever be described as that!) Does anybody know if this is possible here. Would be happy to do it at home if you can hire pools. Would be grateful for any info any one has as this may affect our future decisions about when and where to have a baby.

couldn't help for the water births, but not sure you would find a pool to hire .. but a children swimming pool wouldn't it do? at least.. that's what I thought of when I gave birth.. at home...(I didn't like to be in the bath at all)..
but unfortunately home birth is quite a 'taboo' subject over here.. but you can pm me if you want to discuss more about it...

I found the bath Ok for early part of labour, but it just wasn't deep enough being 9 months pregnant! Thanks for suggestion of pool, as long as i could find a midwife for a home water birth I would be happy to go for the swimming pool option although alot harder to keep the water warm and the right tempreture for delivery. Still need to do more research.
 
By pool I meant birthing pool. You can hire these in UK and then can be used as a hot tub in the days leading up to labour!
