Dear all,
My husband (American) and I(Mainland Chinese raised in the U.S.) moved to HK five years ago. Now we have a beautiful baby girl who is nine months. Neither of us has a good understanding of HK's education system.
Like all parents, we want the best of the best education for our girl. The key objectives for us is finding a great Int'l school teachs English and mandarin and is easy to commute to from Pok Fu Lam.
We started to hear if we don't register now, our girl won't be able to get in some of the best schools. From what we understand she needs to get in a kindergarten, then primary school, etc. The question is how early can we register? Which ones we should apply? We don't mind pay the registration fees. We heard about Victoria, IFS, CIS, HKIS. We are in particular interested in IFS since they will open a new campus at Cyberport.
Would be grateful if anyone could give us some suggestions? If anyone has insights on IFS, that will be great as well!
