visa to US for Helper

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows anyone who has been able to bring their helper to the US or how I can bring my helper to the US?

My husband and I now live in the US after some time in Asia. We would like to bring a helper as I have a 1 year old and planning for baby #2. Anyone have any suggestions/tips? I have had no luck finding an agency on the US side that can do this for me.

I was just in the US with our helper for a holiday. I met someone who knows someone from Hong Kong who just moved there and took his two helpers so it can't be impossible. I would make an appointment to see the US Consulate and tell them you want your helper to finish her contract in the US. They will want assurance that you will pay them US rates not HK rates.

i know of a family who applied for a tourist / temporary visa for their helper when they went back to the US permanently. She got into the country on that and then I guess is stuck there illegally working for them? Its not something i'd be comfortable doing. each to their own.
