Variflo Teat

I've been reading "The Baby Whisperer" by Tracy Hogg and she recommends the use of the "variflo teat" for mums who intend to breast feed as well as bottle feed. Apparently the teat simulates mother's nipple and helps baby when sucking from a bottle. Does anyone know where I can purchase these teats in Hong Kong?

The baby whisperer web site also sells the bottle with teat that Tracy Hogg recommends. It's a little pricey, but it's supposed to be really good because not only can you vary the flow, but you can also squeeze the bottle a little to encourage the milk into the baby's mouth if they are a little reluctant to suck at first. I have bought one but never got round to using it as my daughter has general fed from me; that's just the way it has worked out.

I haven't read the book but if I can remember from her TV show she always recommended the Haberman feeder. I think in 1 of the episodes she said it had a variable flow but I'm not sure. Meridian HK sells them here along with other feeding accessories (and renting breast pumps and stuff). They have a shop in Causeway Bay (Tel: 2915 3388) and are really nice but their english isn't the best. You can check out their site at:

Thank you for the info. I just called Meredian at Causeway Bay and they told me that the product was from Switzerland. They had never heard of the Baby Whisperer book and were not aware that it was designed and promoted by Tracy Hogg. I am not sure whether it is the real thing. I wanted to go and take a look but the shop assistant told me that there was none in stock at the moment.
