Vaccines NOT given at public clinics

Hi All,

I have a 16-month-old and a newborn. I have been taking them to the public clinic in Tung Chung for their needles but just found out "not all" are given there/offered for free. I have never been offered other shots (ie. ons I have to pay for). Does anyone know which ones I might be missing? Need to get for them?

Thanks!

Do you have an "immunisation record"? I got mine from the hospital when my daughter was born and had her first immunisations in there. On the back of it, it has a list of what vaccines aren't on the Hong Kong schedule. They include: influenza, chickenpox, Hib, meningococcal, hep A, Japanese encephalitis, pneumococcal... Also rotovirus... you can talk to a private doctor about getting those extra ones if you like.

Thanks nicolejoy! I have the record and will make an appointment to talk to my dr about the other vaccines.
