using a baby seat in a taxi??

how do you secure the babies and todlers in a taxi that's going a million miles a minute around a curb??

do you belt them in on your lap or use baby seats? travelling type or a sturdy one?

what are the regulations for baby passengers?

i have a 4 yr old and 8th month
 
there's no regulations in HK as to whether you should strap your baby up in a car seat or not, it's a personal choice. you can have your child/baby on your lap whilst in the taxi. i guess things to consider are whether you would want to lug a car seat around town from one destination to another or not having one and comprimsing safetiness.
 
tks for the info. i can't imagine no safety laws for children in taxi's. i will also look up all those sites listed in that thread rani!
