URGENT QUESTION: Medical in HK or Philippines

Hi everyone,
The Agent told me just now that medical for the Domestic Helper to be employed has to be done in Philippines and not in HK. Which means I will not be able to see the medical report before the Helper starts working for me. Is that the case? She also said if I needed her to get the test done here then I need to pay 750$ more. Please advise.
Thanks.

Strangely, a friend was in this situation a couple of days ago. The outcome for her was that the medical in the Philippines is built into the agency fee so you can get it done here but you would need to pay extra.

yes - it is built into agency fee and they do it in manila...the helper my g-ma recently hired had high blood pressure and as a result we (well...I) got to see the medical report as we had to sign a consent form acknowledging the fact that she "was fit to work" as noted by the doctor but that we accept her condition. normally - it is a standard test and if you want any more tests done, you'd have to pay the extra cost...i think the medical in philippines is fine...they don't do anything out of the ordinary...from what i recall they checked for:

eye sight
hearing
blood pressure
pregnancy - they do this 2X to make sure they are not pregnant
general fitness - to see if they are physcially capable of working

that's all!
