my son is going to Cannan (Caine Road) from September (immersion in languages).
I had previously gone to another local school practically next door (HK True Light) for an 'interview' and because my son did not take off his shoes (the FIRST question the lady directed at him) she turned to me and said "your son is not a Chinese" "he is the wrong culture". So much for integrating then!
I then called the EMB who organised an interview at Cannan and when I met with them they were absolutely delightful.
EMB also reminded me to apply for my son's eligibility voucher on time (that knocks around $1,000 off the fees each month). That deadline was end of May for the September 07 intake but I'm sure they should be considering any late applications.
