Ha - I know what you mean! I think I have seen them once from DB! So sad. I have resorted to putting up glowing stars in my son's room!

It is not just a HK thing. We are in Australia atm and we are luky if we see the moon once a week because it is behind clouds all the time. I guess at some point it comes out but never while the kids are awake! They love "moonee".
I remember seeing them when living in DB. Again, you just have to pick the time of day I guess. I didn't see them that often but I did see them.

From our garden too, in Yuen Long -- that's the thing with Hong Kong, if the little things are important enough you have to up and move to the boonies 
. Take heart though, I was a Hong Kong kid and lived in the city most of my life -- as a result I really do appreciate things like stars and grass, so we found a way to have it by moving into the NT's.
