Just wondering if any of you subscribe to a 'kids' channel. I was on holiday recently and our hotel seemed to have many 'kids' channels..while I did not let my son watch much tv..we did enjoy all the singing, actions and dancing...

any suggestions of which channel is good for infants...

thanks

In HK when my son was under 12 months, we watched the BBC's CBeebies. I know many babies LOVE Baby TV. After 18 months, he got more into Playhouse Disney and Nick Jr.

We have a Mac Mini hooked up to our TV which we use to download programs from the BBC iPlayer or from Youtube. We also grab stuff from the US Sprout TV network. We then allow the kids to watch a few of those. We find the process, slightly cumbersome, prevents them from watching too much TV or just having it on endlessly. I can also control the computer in the living room from my computer in the bedroom, so if they are getting a bit out of control I can shut things down remotely. Kind of fun.
